Cakes,Cakes,& More Cakes!


Well, It has been sometime since I have updated my blog with pictures and stories of cakes I have done. Today,however won't be a day for me to go into the background/story behind each cake. But I did want to get pictures posted so you wouldn't think I have totally lost it. LOL These cakes are ones I have done from April 2011-October 2011.

** I do have a story behind the cake above - I will post the "mishap" soon**

Hi and welcome to my Cakes by Dawn Blog!

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved being in the kitchen. I can remember spending time with my grandmother, "Mawmaw" in her kitchen helping her cook and bake. It has become a passion of mine. I have recently discovered that I love working with fondant and decorating cakes. I have never took a class but with lots of research and "youtube" videos, I am self taught. So, this is where my blog comes in play... I will be posting pics of cakes I make here and the stories behind them! I hope you enjoy reading about the "behind the scenes stories" as much as I enjoyed actually going through the journey itself.
